Dr. Carson Sykes

Optometrist

Dr. Carson Sykes is from Haysi, Virginia. He earned an Advanced Associate Degree in Medical Science at Southwest Virginia Community College. He attended and graduated from the Kentucky College of Optometry with a Doctorate in Optometry (O.D.) as a Beta Sigma Kappa member in 2025. Dr. Sykes completed his internship at the James H. Quillen Veterans Memorial hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee where he received extensive education on the identification and management of ocular disease. Dr. Sykes is excited to provide quality eye care to the mountains and area he calls home. He will practice full scope optometric care at all available Envision eye care practices. In his free time, Dr. Sykes enjoys cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers (Go Vols!) and spending time with his family.​​​​​​​
