Dr. Shannon Howell-Pennington is a full-scope optometrist at Envision Eye Care and a proud Chilhowie native whose personal vision story inspired her career.
After receiving her first pair of glasses as a child, she saw firsthand how dramatically improved vision can change someone’s life. That moment ignited her passion for helping others achieve clarity through better eye health.
Dr. Howell-Pennington provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and is known for her thoughtful communication and supportive presence. During optometry school, she developed a strong interest in the medical side of eye care, particularly eye disease management and new diagnostic innovations.
