We know that many of our patients come to us because of what they’ve heard about our advanced technology, affordable eyewear collection, comfortable contacts, and experienced eye doctors — but they choose to come back because of our personalized care. At Envision Eye Care, we do everything we can to ensure that you feel at ease in our offices, and right at home with our staff. From the moment you step into our office in Cedar Bluff, you’ll experience firsthand what means the most to us: great vision today and healthy eyes for the rest of your life.
Dr. Lucas Spiker practices full-scope optometry at Envision Eye Care. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and providing attentive care to improve their vision, preserve their health, and restore their quality of life. Dr. Spiker is passionate about specialty contact lenses and enjoys seeing how much they improve the lives of patients who struggle with complex vision issues and have trouble wearing regular contacts. Dr. Spiker has a decade of experience fitting scleral contact lenses as well as other types of specialty contact lenses. Dr. Spiker is a member of the Virginia Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. He graduated from Bethany College in Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2004. In 2009, he obtained his Doctorate in Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. In his spare time, Dr. Spiker enjoys spending time with his family. His wife, Dr. Amy Blue, is also an optometrist, and they have a son and daughter who keep them very busy. He enjoys playing golf, fishing, and spending as much time outdoors as he can.
Before graduating with honors from the Kentucky College of Optometry, Dr. Chelsea Rasnick received her Bachelor of Science degree at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. It was there that she discovered her passion for optometry while working as an optometric technician. Her favorite part of practicing optometry at Envision Eye Care is that she’s able to tap into the entire team’s expertise to provide the best possible care to her patients. Dr. Rasnick is a former Beta Sigma Kappa honor society member who has participated in multiple medical mission trips, and she looks forward to joining more in the future. As a native of the area, Dr. Rasnick is deeply connected to the community and is committed to ensuring each patient understands their eye health. She currently accepts patients of all ages at our offices in Cedar Bluff and Abingdon.
