Dr. Susan Keene has been a trusted provider in Southwest Virginia for more than three decades, caring for generations of families. Originally from the region she now serves, Dr. Keene has built her career on the belief that exceptional eye care should feel personal, understandable, and rooted in genuine connection.
Since beginning her practice in Marion in 1992, Dr. Keene has provided full-scope optometry for patients of all ages, offering everything from routine eye exams to advanced medical eye care. She has a particular passion for contact lens fitting and ocular disease management, and she loves helping patients find solutions that improve their comfort and everyday quality of life.
Dr. Keene has made significant contributions to the field of optometry in Virginia. She is a past president of the Virginia Optometric Association and was honored as the VOA Optometrist of the Year in 2008.
